Warning Heeded (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday's visit to NOLA saw a rare occurrence, me running errands (without Grandpa knowing) for Grandma to get her stuff.  Had he known, he would have fussed and said, "She doesn't need that!  Don't let her send you out for that!"

While out, i noticed the "No Parking" signs, one of which was very specific at a garage nearby.  "These doors must remain clear at all times!  Violators will be towed 24/7!"

Boudreaux done pull up at Gaston's garage an' see he done gots him de new sign by de do' where he don' want no one to park.

It say, "No Parking!  Violators will have their cars deconbustulated."

Boudreaux done ax Gaston, "What do dat new sign mean?"

An' Gaston say, "I done made dat up, but since I done put it in, I gots no trouble wit' anyone parkin' dere!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.        

It was another poor week for pictures.  The weather has been rainy and gray and sometimes the skies have poured huge amounts of rain in short times.  I caught a few good pictures last Sunday morning, and took a photo of a few of my favorite treasures I don't get to pull out often.  Sunsets from a couple of months ago that didn't get used then round out the selections.
