Gotcha! (Six Sentence Story), Good Fences, Sammy’s Poetry Day and Brian’s Thankful Thursday

 ***********************************

She was having a lovely day.

Strolling through the shopping mall, she stopped wherever her fancy took her, tried things on, bought some, left others, she even stopped at the food court and treated herself to an ice cream.

A couple of her favorite scented candles were last on her list to look for, so she went to the shop and took time to sniff at several of the different ones, choosing her two favorites and one new one to try.

As she checked out, digging through her purse for her wallet, the clerk noticed she had what looked like a TV remote control in there.

With a smile the clerk said, "Um, did you mean to put the TV remote in your purse today?"

She laughed and answered, "My husband wouldn't come shopping with me, and this was the meanest thing I could think of to do to get him back!"

While Good Fences Around the World seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird, i still enjoy looking for and posting interesting fences, so i will!

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day This week's image and my poem:

Don't think I'm rude

I'm a real cool dude

Don't mean to make anyone mad.

I plain love to ride

Show my wheels with pride,

I want to be just like my Dad!
