Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Grandma greeted me yesterday morning with, "Did your daughter tell you what happened yesterday?"
No, i told her.
"Well, she doesn't want you to worry, but she had 2 flat tires, her backpack was stolen from her car, and her fiancé got sprayed by a skunk!"
Now you know why we worry, right?
Clothile done got de look on her face like she be done worryin', an' Boudreaux ax her, "What be wrong?"
"Nuttin' be wrong, yet, but I be's worryin' 'bout Aline goin' to college, all de stuff dat can happen."
An' Boudreaux say, "Worryin' don' he'p none."
An' Clothile say, "Mais! It do he'p. Mos' ever t'ing I done worry 'bout never happen!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
Most days are spent working and go by so fast, I seem to be taking pictures of the same stuff. I've noticed the Spanish moss seems to love the heat, it's now growing from the bushes as well as the trees and spreading like crazy.

This week, Lulu wants to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. She asked me to do a profile shot, as she believes this is her good side. I tried telling her every side is good, but she insisted.

ReplyDeleteHello Lulu.
ReplyDeleteIs Spanish Moss a useful plant or an invasive pest?
So much to like from the Cajun joke to your delightful pictures!
ReplyDeleteI loved the Cajun joke. I wish I had a 500 page book of them! I think I will skip Nude day...out of respect for my viewers. :-)
ReplyDeleteComment'eating Google at it again. I try a reconstruct.
ReplyDeleteHehe, I am totally with Chlotile here: All the things, I worry about never happens, so I dare not stop worrying.
The bushes with Spanish moss looks like they're trying to grow a beard. Fun ones, thanks.
