My Box! (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Abigail says, "No, don't take my box away for recycling!"

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I like my ________________ with _________________.

2. When I was _______________, I had to have ___________________.

3. I spend the most time thinking about _________.

4. _________ is a risk worth taking.

1. I like my watermelon with a pinch of salt to bring out the sweet.

2. When I was very young, I had to have my blanket to sleep with.  From what i've been told, i was very well trained.  Until age five, hand me the blanket and i would go straight to sleep, no matter where i was, crib, church, car, grocery cart, anyplace.

3. I spend the most time thinking about whatever is next, and a lot of time thinking about the right and good way to handle whatever is next.

4. Being made fun of, or even persecuted, for standing up for my beliefs is a risk worth taking.

  1. I hope you didn't take Abigails box away from her. Most cats (including the big ones) do love their boxes.
Anything we are passionate about it worth standing up for.

  3. I'm always amused to see kitties in boxes. I remember Angel playing in one for a short while, but he was the only cat I ever had who did, and that didn't last long, maybe a week and then he wouldn't go near it.

  13. Nothing makes a kitty happier than a box! I always feel bad when I take one of the kitties' favorite boxes out to recycle it. Sometimes the boxes just need to retire, though. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Watermelon is my favorite fruit, but I've honestly never tried it with salt. I've heard of many people who enjoy it that way, though, so perhaps I should give it a shot. And your answer to #4 is so inspiring. Have a wonderful day!
