Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
Ms. Fiona's cats, April and Sassy, are now Ms. G's cats. Sassy has never been afraid of me, but April is cautious. She sometimes lets me get close, but only when she's ready. I've petted her before, but she has to be in the mood. Here are a few photos of them while i was cat-sitting and also from this past Wednesday.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. I am in my _________ era.
2. I am insecure about _________.
3. I'm really happy with my recent purchase of _________.
4. My alarm clock is usually set for _________.
1. I am in my work like crazy era.
2. I am insecure about insecurity! Security is an odd thing, and i believe you don't find it in anything natural, just in The Almighty.
3. I'm really happy with my recent purchase of flowers for my over-the-kitchen-sink vase, they are lilies and they smell delightful.
4. My alarm clock is usually set for 4am, although i am generally awake before it goes off.

I am so glad that April and Sassy have a new home.
ReplyDeleteMy internal clock gets me up around the same time as you - though I slept in till after five this morning.
We have joined in the blog hop. We can't see many other kitties there, yet. Greetings and thank you for your informative post.
ReplyDeleteWe rarely hear the alarm at our house as Mom always wakes up before it goes off unless she was really exhausted and sleeping hard which is rare. Sleeping in means 5 or 5:30, but that is rare.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I love seeing new kitties. I'm guessing that Sassy is the tortie from her beautiful colours and April is the little black one. I see you lured them in with treats and/or food. It allows you to get closer in a good way. Cute.
ReplyDeleteApril and Sassy, cute kitties with cute names.
ReplyDeleteThey seem very happy in their home. We love the one of them eating together. Great fill-ins.
ReplyDeleteThose are great kitty pics. They are so cute. Great fill ins. Happy weekend!

4 am! My goodnes, this counts as middle in the night for me ... but then I am an owl ;)
ReplyDeleteI totally understand your other fill--ins.
April and Sassy are pretty cats. I haven't risen at 4am since I retired. I used to get up early back then to be at work by 5.30 to do all the preparing for the 6am opening of the store.
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "I can't blame April, I mean, it's only good sense to be prudent about who gets to approach you. For instance, I let anyone approach me if they want to, as long as I'm hiding under the sofa and can't see them."
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cats! Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteAww, April and Sassy are beautiful. You sure do wake up early!
