Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

ReplyDeleteThe juvenile room for the kittens is so perfect! Mom is happy she grew up when she did too. These days you always have a phone so you are never out of touch and there are so many more dangers.

ReplyDeleteThose kittens are definitely so cute. Hope the ringworm is under control. And I do remember my mom just putting me outside to play and telling me what my boundaries were and then she forgot about it. She knew I was safe.

I love your fill ins, especially #3 and #4. Unfortunately, I believe thinking for oneself and not being spoon fed what to believe is the norm now because it's easier and doesn't require a lot of work. And, wisdom is all but non-existent for most people! The kitties are adorable and I'd love to spend the afternoon hanging out in that room.

ReplyDeleteMom remembers when she was a child (100 years ago) that she played outside all the time all year round. Today, even though we live in a very safe neighborhood, it is very rare to see children outside having fun. Very sad.
