Abigail Cat, Fill-In Fun, and a Small Request

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..

1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)

2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code

3) paste the code under your cat picture

4) add your name and link

That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

This past week i was catsitting.  The consensus of most of the semi-feral cats is that i'm tolerable if i am doling out food, but not otherwise.

Abigail, however, loves everyone, and politely posed for me:

She's a sweetheart!

Friendly Fill-Ins are four fun and easy statements to complete. Ellen of 15andmeowing provides the first two statements and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader.  They try to make sure they will be fun to both answer and share. On Friday, the linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM. Please head to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with the blanks:

Week 56: June 3, 2017

1. A law I would like to see passed is _________________________.

2. My favorite card game is ______________________.

3. With Summer unofficially here,                                   .

4. A favourite Summer memory is                                   .

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1.  A law i would like to see passed is very simple.  At every election, from the local constable to the highest position in the country, None of the Above must be on the ballot.  If None of the Above gets 30% or more of the vote, the election must be held over, and no one who ran before may run again.  This would bring real change, i think.

2.  My favorite card game is Go Fish, played with Emmy on rEcess nights.  That's the only time i play cards.

3.  With Summer unofficially here, we will not have any more of those delightful nights with temps down in the 50s again until well into fall.  We will have rain, and i will have more mud to clean when i'm taking care of my clients homes and offices.

4.  A favourite Summer memory is the yearly family vacation when i was growing up, especially Hawai'i and the cruises.

  1. Thanks for reminding me it's Coronation Day here in the UK - it hardly gets a mention here! Like many families we bought our first TV in order to watch it. I'm far too young to remember of course!
