Felines and Fill-Ins Make Friday Fun!

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join.  Follow the link above to Steve's page to see how to be a part of this fun meme.

If I can't go on vacation with you, I won't pose for the camera!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

Week 58: June 16, 2017

1. I challenge everyone to ________________________ this week.

2. I regret disposing of _____________________________.

3. I have a difficult time admitting                                .

4. If I were given a psychic power, I would like it to be

I challenge everyone to list at least three things for which they are thankful every single day this week.  You will be amazed at how this can improve your mood and outlook on life.

I regret disposing of not a whole lot.  The few things that mean a lot to me i still have.  (And i did not get rid of the silver dollars my Papa left for me, they were stolen.  That i do regret, but it wasn't my fault.)  My regrets are more things i've done or not done than items i've kept or not kept.

I have a difficult time admitting that i have a hard time controlling my temper.

If i were given a psychic power, i would like it to be the ability to tell exactly what is wrong with any person or pet who is ill.  So many times i see people who have doctors fiddling and playing around forever and still can't find out what's wrong, or pets that cannot tell you what's wrong and the vet has to test and guess, test more and guess.  It would be amazing to be able to just look at them and tell them what's wrong.

  1. I would not guess from your blog that you had temper issues. LOL

  2. I used to be very hot tempered but no more an issue, I have mellowed a lot. Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. I loved the comment that the cat said. She was a little upset. Ha,ha,ha.
Have a great day Mimi. See ya.

    Cruisin Paul

  4. That is an adorable kitty. Thank you for these great answers. I love that super power. It is so hard to diagnose pets because they can't even tell us their symptoms. And it often takes a long time of waiting or tests for humans too. Have a great weekend!

  5. Poor kitty, but I do understand. Pouting is cute when it comes from a cute kitty.

I too am surprised about you having a temper.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  6. Me again, I am going to do every challene so starting tomorrow on my blog I will list 3 things I am thankful for this week.

  7. Cats are notorious for not posing for pics. It's in their nature to not cooperate unless it's their idea.

  8. Well we think that is a great pose. Such a cute expression, like he or she is king of that Hammick. And don't bother that kitty kat. Have a great day.

  9. LOL love the quote also looks like that cat is saying "How very dare you"

    Have a prudishtastic FF :-)

  10. I don't know if I could handle the ability to know what was wrong with people medically. It would be awful knowing small children had cancer or other maladies.

  11. kitten needs kisses! xo
I accept your challenge. I will see about posting, and may keep a list to post at the week's end. It depends on Bill's schedule!
What a great gift it would be, to be able to help others who are ill. Mimi, you rock. Really. You are such a special soul. Thank you. HUGS!

  12. That diagnostic psychic power would be great. Have a great weekend.

  13. I think it would be great to be able to diagnose things the way you suggest. So much suffering could be avoided.

My temper gets the better of me, too. I am trying to be a calmer person.

I like your challenge idea and will do my best to do it. I will remember to thank Heavenly Father for the things and hopefully remember to post about it, too. Thank you.

I will put my first three here:
    1. I am thankful for Mimi's history lessons in her posts.
    2. I am thankful that one of the baby wrens landed right beside me so that I could take its picture (which I will post soon!).
    3. I am thankful for air conditioning.

Fresh veggies and fudge, what could be better? Well, other than shrimp and cheesecake. :)

Have a blessed day, Mimi. :)
