Happy Feline New Year Friday!

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

No, you are not going shopping today!  Your shopping bags make too good of a bed!

New Year?  Who cares?  Naps are timeless!

And in fact, i am not shopping today, because i am working.  The bakery is closed, but Ms. R was indeed happy to find out she wouldn't have to do without her regular every-other-Friday cleaning.  Also, i will be feeding and medicating the cats at the shelter tonight, just like i did Christmas night.  They get hungry and need attention even on holidays.

A quick note about our foster kittens.  Arianna was adopted straight out of our house into the home of one of Little Girl's friends.  Rhona and Henry went to the shelter the Wednesday before Christmas.  They were given a ringworm dip just to be safe, and were not even fully dry when they were snapped up and taken to new forever homes. The shelter has done a whopping 125 (that's the last number i heard) adoptions for December and has set a record for 2015, although i'm not certain of the sum total.

A blessed and beautiful Happy New Year to you and everyone you love!
