Silly Sunday: When to Say When

Silly Sunday is hosted by Sandee, of Comedy Plus.

Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs.  The rules are simple, just have fun.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process.

Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
  1. Post a joke.
  2. Link Up with the URL to your joke in the Linky Tools Widget.
  3. Read my joke.
  4. Leave a comment to tell me how much you enjoyed my joke.
  5. Try and visit a few others participating in Silly Sunday.
  6. Go to Sandee's site, linked above, and get the Silly Sunday code for your blog, too!

Katy came to work yesterday looking a bit worse for the wear.  When someone asked her what had happened, her response was, "I made a poor decision last night.  We went out, and somehow ended up at a place where they were giving away a shot of vodka to everyone who came in, and you know I don't drink because I can't hold my liquor, but, well, I made a poor decision.  I don't even remember how we ended up at the pizza place after, but now I know pizza isn't a good idea if I decide to drink even though I shouldn't."

Boudreaux, of course, knows when to quit.

One time he be at De HubbaHubba Bar, an' after ever' drink, he pull somet'ing out his pocket an' look at it.  After a while, Gaston de barkeep ax him, "Boudreaux, what dat be dat you got in you pocket?  An' why you keep pullin' it out an' lookin' at it?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Well, dat be de photo of me Clothile, an' I keep lookin' at it 'cause when she start to look good, I done had 'nuff to drink an' I need to go home!"
