Feline Friday: Still a happy ending.

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..
1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)
2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code
3) paste the code under your cat picture
4) add your name and link
That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

My boss at the bakery expressed an interest in adopting two kittens to keep each other company.  A couple of days later, from the shelter, i sent her this picture of a brother and sister who were ready for a new home and so got along well.

She was interested in two that would get along, as these do!

My boss was out of town, and they were adopted before she could get back.  It's okay, though, she ended up adopting a cat she has loved for a long time, one that belonged to an elderly member of our church who is now in hospice.  It's a win for everyone, even if it wasn't quite how she envisioned it.

  7. Seriously, that is a win-win. It's harder to adopt out older cats, and it's so unfair that this one was in a shelter because her owner is too old to care for her anymore. So she loses both her devoted owner and her home. I think it was fate that your boss decided she wanted to adopt kittens but got pointed in the direction of the cat by Karma. The cat deserves to live out her remaining years in a loving household. :)
