Awww Monday: Embarrassed?

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee, of Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

We've had two cats left at the shelter that had a similar problem.  They were long-haired cats that had been allowed to get very matted.  Both had to be taken in, sedated, and shaved.

One decided to hide behind the litter box.

He just didn't want to be seen.

The other, well, i asked him if i could take his picture and

First, he gave me "the look" (and no one gives "the look" like a cat)!

Then he turned his head away.

Finally, he hid his head. looking for all the world like he's ashamed!

Yes, they are both going to be just fine, as soon as their hair grows back out.

  6. They are sooo cute :) I love how one is hiding. I hope it is warm in the shelter. That happens to my Snowball too, she doesn't like to be touched so I rarely brush her and she ends up with a lion cut every summer.

  13. Even though they are feeling a bit unhappy at the moment, and definitely know that something's not quite right, they must also feel so much better without all that matted fur that they couldn't care for on their own. Show us photos of them once they are grown out and beautiful again, I bet they'll let you! <3
