Feline Balancing Act and Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..

1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)

2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code

3) paste the code under your cat picture

4) add your name and link

That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

Dansig likes to "sleep dangerously":

Sometimes he doesn't quite stay balanced and tumbles off when he turns over!

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by McGuffy Ann Morris of McGuffy's Reader. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

My fill-ins for the statements are underlined:

Week 42: February 24, 2017

1. I wish _____________________________ would come back in style.

2. I always have _____________________ in my purse (or wallet for men).

3. I think that I ___________________.

4. ___________________ is a pet peeve of mine.

1. I wish common sense and behaving with respect would come back in style.  Not being a fashion maven, there's no particular clothing trend from years past that i am crazy with longing to wear, but these two items making a comeback would transform our world!

2. I always have ID, proof of both health and auto insurance, debit card, and library card in my wallet.  Other stuff i could live without, those are the essentials.

3. I think that i will never have enough time to read everything i want to get to read.  In fact, it would take several lifetimes.

4. People wanting their half out of the middle is a pet peeve of mine.

  1. Dansig, that does look like a kind of dangerous place to nap. But you sure are a good looking orange kitty. Have a great day.

  2. MessyMimi, Common sense and respect would be two nice comeback kids to our society. If folks have a wakening of the heart then we might see these attributes in others again. Have a good day and better weekend!

  3. LOL right on the edge what a daredevil Dansig is :-)

    Have a sleepytastic Friday :-)

  4. Dansig on the edge. #1 would certainly help heal much of society's ills, #2 I would add tissues, #3 yes, too many books, too little time, and #4 people who stand too close behind me in line.

  5. Dansig will probably climb back up the chair to continue his nap after the tumble.

  6. Poor baby. I had a cat like that once and he did pretty much the same thing. Never seemed to hurt himself though.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday. Have an even better weekend. ☺

  7. I totally enjoyed my visit here this morning... visiting from Friendly Fill-ins. I love cats, so I enjoyed meeting Dansig. I am with you on #1 and #4 on your Fill-ins. I want to come back and browse... adding you to my Feedly Reader, I didn't see a way to sign up for email subscription.

  8. Dansig is a cutie. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. I know what you mean about not enough time to read, I have over 600 books on my "want to read" list on Goodreads. Have a great weekend!

  9. I used to have a cat that fell off the bed regularly at night, I think he slept too soundly. Then he would glower at me as if I pushed him. :-) Yes, please, #1 of your fill-ins. Both seem to become more rare with every passing year. It isn't all that hard to treat others with a little respect and kindness!

  10. Best to only let Dansig sleep on chairs with short legs.

  11. Like Dansig, Maggie tends to sleep like that! She is always hanging over the edge...and falls, unfortunately. She dislocated her knee a few years ago. She is not very graceful, bless her big, sweet heart.
Your answers are great. I could not agree with you more: Common sense and respect are in short supply. Selfishness is very much the normal way, now. It is sad. Too many want pity for what they want, instead of being thankful for what they do have. Too much "me-me-me". When you do not have much, you learn. HUGS.

  12. I had a cat who loved sleeping atop the TV. He fell off regularly and it was a long way down. Same cat used to sleep so close to the space heater that he singed his fur! None of my girl cats did that. Yes, this world really needs common sense & respect, plus a dash of tolerance and kindness, too. Have a great weekend!

  14. Ditto on the common sense and the manners! And there is never enough time to read all the things I want to read. How do I get a job that just pays me to read all day?
