Silly Sunday is hosted by Sandee, of Comedy Plus.
Silly Sunday is the place to come for weekly laughs. The rules are simple, just have fun.
This is a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and have a laugh or two in the process.
Here is how it works: Laugh and Link Up!
1. Post a joke.
2. Link Up with the URL to your joke in the Linky Tools Widget.
3. Read my joke.
4. Leave a comment to tell me how much you enjoyed my joke.
5. Try and visit a few others participating in Silly Sunday.
7. Go to Sandee's site, linked above, and get the Silly Sunday code for your blog, too!
Being away for a few days is better than any pill or potion the doctor could give me. We went on a "dolphin cruise," which is a fancy thing to call a ride on a small boat, but we did see the dolphins all around us, and lots of other lovely sights.
When Boudreaux's Mère be not feelin' so good, she go see her traiteur (doctor). She done tol' him, "I been feelin' low in my mind ever since my soeur (sister) die las' year."
An' de traiteur say, "I goin' give you de medicine, you take a pill when you be sad enough you t'ink you need one."
She take de paper to de herboristerie, an' he give her de pills (Valium), an' she tell Boudreaux 'bout it.
A bit later, Boudreaux he ax his Mère, "How it be wit' dem pills de traiteur give you?"
An' she say, "Oh, I done quit takin' dem t'ings."
"Why you done quit?" Boudreaux ax. "Be dey not workin'?"
An' she say, "Mais, no, dey be workin' too good, it be makin' me feel so great, I be wavin' to people I don' even like!"

The dolphins are my favorite part of when we vacation at Galveston. They are so amazing! I think maybe we all would do well to wave and smile at people we don't even like to much, it would be a nicer world if we did! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of pills did you say those were? I wonder if my HMO can get me some.
