Awww Monday: Hibiscus

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee, of Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

We have a cat at the shelter named Hibiscus, but i call her "Biscuits" in part because of her color and in part because she's a couple of biscuits shy of a Pillsbury tube.

Should I pose this way?

Or maybe like this?

Oh, I think this is my best side.

Wait, I think I have a whisker out of place!

  3. The children had two little kittens (outdoor pets) years ago named Butter and Biscuit. They were an adorable pair. Unfortunately they disappeared one night without a trace. We were all heartbroken that they left. I always enjoy reading your "This Day in History" section. I loved playing Pac-Man in the 80s! I got addicted to that crazy game and would often drop a couple of dollars or more in quarters into that arcade game every day. It got where I'd hear the Pac-Man mewsic and sounds playing in my head long after I'd stopped playing the game. That's when I knew I had to quit. lol I hated seeing Johnny Carson stepping down from The Tonight Show. He was a great host! Thanks for making me think about some things and putting a smile on my face this morning. Have a good week, dear!

  6. Aw. Too bad I'm allergic to cats.

On another note, have you ever seen It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World? Rat Race is a modern version of that movie, which is also quite funny.

  7. Pets can provide hours of entertainment for their owners. I think I'd call her "Biscuits" to. It's much more down to earth.

  11. Biscuits, I think, is, a more appropriate name for a white cat like Hibiscus. Whatever, she's a beauty by any other name. She strikes me as the model type.
