The wonderful Annie of McGuffy's Reader is hosting Sparks, an inspirational and  positive thought for the week link-up, every Monday.
"The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive. Social media has become a part of this dark, negative storm. There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change." ~ McGuffy Ann Morris

  2. Mimi,

I like your quote. I think if one has a kind heart then no matter what their social status is, kindness will show through.

I see that it's Weird Al and the late Johnny Carson's birthdays. JC was a great host of "The Tonight Show". No one does it better than he did!

Thanks for the "Sparks" of encouragement! Have a sparkletastic day!

  9. Oh my goodness so much to share here! I love that Boston Cream Pie day hee hee! I also chuckled at the revolt in Haarlem when the ban of smoking was put in place in the 1600's! Our oldest daughter is a smoker and there is no place for people to smoke yet we breathe polluted air from traffic and factories and everything else! Not defending smoking just thinking out loud.. I appreciate you very much. You share so much information that I otherwise would not see. It is very kind of you to do this. Thank you. Enjoy your week and keep sharing. HUGS
