(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

"You're working too hard, and I'm worried about you!" he said, his voice a good bit louder than he had intended.

"Oh, you're worried about nothing," she said with a smile, then added, "and you don't have to yell."

"You are putting in too many hours, you are preoccupied, and that shouldn't happen," he said in a softer tone, but with a hard edge, "and there's another thing, you are getting absent minded at home."

"Absent minded, pish!" she laughed.  "Prove that!"

"Here's your sign," he said, pointing to the milk she had just set in the cabinet while putting the cereal in the fridge.

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Sign.

Gosia, of Looking for Identity, has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit others blog to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

Some people love these automatic opening gates, but i can do without:

They look nice from the front side.
They even look nice from the back side.
But the opener arms always break sooner or later.

  1. Many years ago coming home from work tired (and perhaps absent minded) I threw the milk under the bed as I went past - and only realised when my shoes didn't fit in the milk compartment in the fridge.
