Groaning Over More Than Turkey (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

(Because some people like Blogger and some like WordPress, i am putting the same content at both.  If you would prefer to read this on the other site, it is linked here.)

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus no longer hosts a Silly Sunday blog hop, don't expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes.  After all, it's a habit now!

With Thanksgiving on the way, there’s a lot to do, squeezing in everyone.  There have been a couple of people attempting to get me to schedule them in somehow, and i just cannot.

It’s going to be a fun day, family and more family, food and fun.

Boudreaux already be warmin’ him up.  He be practicin’ his jokes fo’ de day on Clothile.

“What be de day you serve ever’one a tofu turkey?” he ax.  “Pranksgivin’!”

Clothile don’ say nothin’.

“Why do de cranberry be red?  It done see de turkey dressin’!”

Clothile jes’ look at him.

“What be de different between a pirate an’ de cranberry farmer?  One done bury his treasures an’ de other done treasure his berries!”

Clothile done give him a glare.

“You best not be doin’ you mash potatoes from de box, you grand-mère done goin’ turn over in her gravy!”

Clothile fin’ly say, “You gots to stop!”

An’ Boudreaux say, “You cain’t ax me to quit cold turkey!”

So Clothile ax him, “What fo’ you be plannin’ tell all dese bad jokes?”

An’ Boudreaux say, “Mais, what else you ‘spect me do on de day we eat wit’ de people dat annoy me de mos’?

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by River at Drifting Through Life.

Grandma moved on from simple rock art to create something bigger:

And she has already started to pull out the Christmas decor!

  5. Groan on the jokes. I see his point though.

We don't decorate anymore. Climbing on ladders is something we just don't do anymore.

Have a fabulous day and a blessed Sunday. Big hug. ♥
