Gracie (Awww Monday), Inspiring Quote of the Week, and Masking (Poetry Monday)

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

Some pictures of Gracie, my friend in Mobile's Small Bad Dog:

What do you mean, I'm not supposed to be in the laundry cart?
She loves to wear her dresses.

She enjoys rides in her pram.

Sparks, the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, is on hiatus, so here's an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border.  She and Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey take turns providing a theme each week.  Charlotte/Mother Owl almost always participates, too.  This week the theme is The Pandemic.

My doctor says to wear a mask
It's really not to much to ask,
So i do it, every day,
And this is what i have to say,
It never did occur to me,
That someday there would be
A garment i'd wear that i'd hate more
Than the bra that i abhor!

  1. Gracie is a cutie.
And your poem made me smile. Thank you - we all need smiles. And some of us need bras.

  2. Nice dog. I always got National Onion Rings day and Chocolate Eclairs day mixed up. Did not know which was which and why my eclairs tasted oniony.

    God bless.

  3. Cute dog and good poem. I'm a member of the "Mask and Bra-Abhoring Society" as well.

  4. Grace is such a little cutie!
I don't hate my bra so much, I prefer wearing it rather than having my boobs hanging down over my ribs.

  5. Great quote. Have the battle of being a champion is in the mind. If you don't have the right mindset, it won't happen.

  6. Gracie is a doll! Have a lovely day!

  7. Gracie indeed brings an Aww... to the lips.

I think I will head to Dairy Queen today and joing the celebration, even if it's only in the drive-thru lane. I fee a Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzard coming on, or maybe just a large soft-serve cone. Have a blessed week.

  8. That little poem is brilliant! National chocolate eclair day...should I or should I not?

  9. Awww, Gracie is a cutie pie and pink is her color.

Love the Spark and your poem is spot on. I feel the same way.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug, my friend. ♥

  10. What a darling little one Gracie is! I more than agree with your poem about masks - MOL!

  16. Ugh. Bras. And I really do have a love/hate relationship with my mask as well!

  17. Mimi, your poem made me laugh - just what we need right now. If I wear my mask over both mouth and nose my specs fog up and I can't see where I'm going. Dangerous when out shopping!

  18. Dairy Queen Day???
    gotta run...

  19. Gracie ~ you are a sweetie and so adorable ~ ^_^
