One Good Thing (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandpa has decided that Uncle J and i each need to tell him what items in the house we want to inherit when he and Grandma are gone.  For some reason, he has decided his original plan, to let us just work it out after, is not a good idea.  Maybe he's on to something, who knows.

Tee done be tellin' hims Père, Boudreaux, 'bout hims frien'.  "Dey done inherit dem plenny money from dey rich granpère!  Dey's gonna buy dem de new house trailer."

Den he ax, "Is we be goin' inherit ennyt'in' from our granpère?

An' Boudreaux say, "Non, my Père don' be rich, but dat be okay, de Good Book done say, 'Blessed be de poor.'"

An' Tee ax, "Why you t'ink it say dat?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, dey don' have to pay dem de inheritin' tax!"
