Last week i mentioned these two Trick and Treat.  They were playing like crazy things in their cage, then one got adopted and the other was looking dejected, wondering what happened.  He was adopted about an hour later.

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border.  Jenny at Procrastinating Donkey is on a blog semi-break and her poetry is sorely missed, we hope she comes back soon.   Charlotte/Mother Owl participates, and now Karen at Baking in a Tornado is jumping in at least once a month, too.  Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let Diane know!

Bathtub with bubbles

Take time for nurturing you

Bring rubber ducky

Shower are easy

So fast and quick,

Hop in and get clean,

You're done in a lick.

Bathtubs are for

Taking your time,

Enjoying some soaking,

Warmth so sublime.

Make room for the bubbles

It's a refuge to seek,

Revive those sore muscles,

At least once a week.

When my kids were little

the best time of day

was when in the bathtub

getting clean while they play.

We'd make up silly stories

and sing silly songs,

it's one part of their childhood

for which my heart longs!
