No Matter What, a Six Sentence Story

 ***********************************

No matter how faint the sound, they hear it.

You can't run, and you can't hide, they smell it, too.

You cannot be sneaky enough to get away from them or get away with it, they have a sense you cannot understand.

They will know, and they will find you.

All you can do is accept your fate.

Once you get a dog, it will know when you are eating even the smallest snack, and you will have to share.

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Faint.
