Post Surgery Naps (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins and Nature Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

All these little girls just had their spay surgery and were in various stages of sleeping it off or coming to and finally getting some grub.

Please if you have spare thoughts and prayers and good wishes for our shelter, we've had a panleukopenia outbreak and the shelter is closed to everyone, even volunteers, until they can get it under control.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15 And Meowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. _________ is a quality of mine that I am proud of.

2. _________ is a quality of mine I would like to change.

3. Though I find _________ boring, _________ really interests me.

4. Believe it or not, I deal with _________ on a regular basis.

1. Being able to keep calm and form a plan in a crisis  is a quality of mine that I am proud of.

2. Impatience in traffic  is a quality of mine I would like to change.

3. Though I find   cleaning houses and offices in itself to be  boring,   being of help and service to people and taking care of their needs  really interests me.   And what my clients mostly need is their houses cleaned!  At least some of them keep me company before or after or we even chat as i work.

4. Believe it or not, I deal with   fighting off depression  on a regular basis.

  2. Leukopenia sounds bad - I hope it goes away, soon.
As usual I love your fill-ins. Mine would have been quite different, yet in the same vein. I feel sad for your battles with depression. That black cloud is an evil being.

  6. Sweet little ones recuperating. At least when they are young, it doesn't take long to heal from surgery. Hopefully the outbreak will clear up quickly and the shelter can get back to normal without any further incident. Mom is very impatient in traffic too.

  15. Those kitties always look strange to me with their little tongues sticking out. Someone told me that their tounge is actually longer than the mouth. No idea if it's true, but I just hope they don't have too much of a hangover after... And indeed, the best to your shelter to get rid of that!
I don't know what the tree is, but it's sure lovely!
