Not What She Has In Mind (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Lulu, Grandma and Grandpa's dog, is afraid of rain and thunder.  When she knows it's coming, she follows me around the house nervously.  If she gets to shaking badly enough or the storms last a while, Grandpa gives her a "chill pill," something the vet gave them, and she usually sleeps.

Yesterday, she'd started shivering and following me around because a storm was coming.  Grandma said, "I wish I could cuddle you, Lulu, but you're too big and you'd knock me out of my bed."

Clothile an' Boudreaux be on de vacation, an' de firs' night, Clothile say, "I miss de cat fo' to cuddle wit' whiles I sleep."

An' Boudreaux say, "I can cuddle wit' you."

An' Clothile ax, "Can you purr?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, no, but I's sure I can snore!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child

Long week, most of the pics are from last Sunday when walking Mr. Cal and meeting up with his friends.

This week, Mickey and Clarabelle want(s) to join the Kitties Blue at The Cat On My Head for their Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.  That is, they said they wanted to, then, being kittens, lost interest, and Clarabelle went to sleep!
