Grandma has decided she wants the friend helping with her plants to make a nice rock garden of them.  It’s going to take a while, but it’s underway.

Thibodeaux an’ Marie done decide dey’s goin’ do dem de renovation on de house dey allus done want.  But Thibodeaux done be tellin’ Boudreaux he don’ be lookin’ forrad to de t’ree months it be goin’ take to git it all done.

An’ Boudreaux done say, “Don’ be worry ‘bout no t’ree month renovatin’!  Dat six month goin’ to be de bes’ year o’ you life!

I always get a kick out of seeing old cars on the road, back when they built them right.

I have no clue what this door decor means, if anything, or what exactly it is, but it's beautiful.

One way to add color, put in a plastic flower.

Old water meter covers in our neighborhood.  They weren't so fancy in later years, and now they are putting a piece of plastic with a small metal door in the center, flimsy and likely to be cracked if run over with a riding lawn mower.
