Light Me Up! (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

The cost of living comes up a lot these days.  We were reminiscing when the electric bill was called "the light bill" and it was nowhere near as much of most budgets as it is now.

Boudreaux done be lookin' at hims 'lectric bill an' Thibodeaux done ax, "What be wrong?"

An' Boudreaux say, "I be's lookin' at de light bill, an' mais! I t'ink dey done charge me fo' de sunlight, de moonlight, de starlight, de street light, de light o' my life, de speed o' light, de light o' de Holy Spirit an' de light at de end o' de tunnel!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child (who is on a blog break).

St. Patrick's Day is taken rather seriously here, with a parade and everything.

This week, i received something unexpected in the mail.  We always ordered Dansig the Round's food from Chewy and i called and cancelled it once he crossed the rainbow bridge, instead we now get a different food which is better for Link Linker the Stinker who seems to have developed digestive trouble.

The Chewy Wow Team sent me this.
