“Well, who was that guy?”
“‘That guy’ was Philo T. Farnsworth, the man who invented television,” at his raised eyebrows, she continued, “yes, really, his life was kind of fascinating in many ways, he even got raided by the Feds during Prohibition when they thought his lab was a cover for a bootlegger operation.”
“So did the panel guess who he was?”
“No, and he won $80 and a carton of the show sponsor’s cigarettes for stumping them — poor guy, his name should be on everyone’s lips as much TV as we all watch, and instead he’s mostly reduced to an answer in trivia contests.”

Brian of Brian's Home hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. It's time to share something for which i am thankful.
Today i am thankful that i finally thought of using the mini food processor to grind up the canned cat food that comes in chunks. We have our very skinny elderly cats on canned food once a day to keep their weight up, and it seems to work. They don’t have a preference for one kind of food, so when we are given free cans of any major brand we use it.
The problem is that if it is anything but pâté food, all Tripod SissyCat does is lick off the gravy and it rather defeats the purpose, she’s not getting enough calories from it that way. Thus the food processor, which grinds it all up and more of it gets consumed.
