Okay, i had to ask

This one has me speechless.

On the impetus of a wise man investigating what a fool takes for granted, i decided to investigate.

Investigate what?

Well, the other day Bigger Girl was talking about tons of stuff, as usual (sometimes it's hard to keep up with how fast her mind moves from one thing to another) when she asked if i had ever thought about whether or not they could make a wheelchair with a roll bar.

My instinct, after i looked at her blankly for a moment, was to think, of course not, why would they?

But, not wanting to take anything for granted, i went to my favorite investigator and informant, Google, and came up with
The four-wheel drive hybrid wheelchair

It is a four-wheel drive hybrid wheelchair.  It's meant to give greater mobility to the disabled and elderly.  And yes, it has a roll bar.

Call me impressed.  As Jiminy Cricket said, "Man, what they can't do these days!"

Speaking of impressed, i haven't been too impressed with how Blogger is working the last day or two.  Anyone else having trouble getting it to save?

  2. Is that really a wheelchair? I can't imagine it going up and down the halls at the retirement facility where my mom lives. This must just be for outdoors.

  3. Carla, that has always been a problem; i've even read about it, how the kind that doesn't leave ink on your hands has problems of its own.

Stephen, i'm sure it's a wheelchair, and yes, it's for outdoors.
