Feline Friday: Fond, Sad Farewell

Feline Friday is hosted by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is..
1) post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute)
2) go to Steve's page, linked above, then on the menu bar click on the Feline Friday tab to get the code
3) paste the code under your cat picture
4) add your name and link
That’s all there is to it! Be sure to check back every so often and visit all the Feline Friday bloggers. Also, please leave a nice comment on their blogs. Nasty comments will be deleted!

While i was out of town, Sweetie decided to take KidaMosquito to the vet.  Dr. Bea decided to do blood work to see if she was hyperthyroid.

It wasn't that, and she called to leave a message, asking if we wanted her to call the lab and order more tests, or if we had already put her through enough, because now the signs were pointing to kidney failure.

Sweetie waited a few hours for me to get home and for us to talk about it, and we were going to let Dr. Bea know the next morning.

That evening, KidaMosquito didn't eat much, and by the next morning, she didn't come out to eat at all.  She went peacefully in her sleep in the night.

We had told the vet that the morning that she didn't come howl at me to be fed would be the day, but she didn't make us go through with it.

She was loved and will be missed.

Classic KidaMosquito when she was in her prime.
