Yesterday at the bakery was nuts.  We ran out of some products, the people who work the counter were coming into the back to have a peaceful minute because the customers were continuous, and the people coming in for last minute Valentine gifts, both men and women, was a bit sad to see.

Boudreaux, when he done firs' got marry to Clothile, he done make dat mistake, too. not getting de Valentine gif' 'til de las' minute.

It be dere firs' Valentine, an' Clothile wake up dat morning an' ax, "Boudreaux, I done had a dream las' night dat you done got me a diamon' necklace for de Valentine gif'.  You t'ink dat mean somet'in'?"

"Mais, you goin' have to wait for later an' see!" Boudreaux say.

Den dat evenin', Boudreaux he bring in a gif', an' it be in a box, an' Clothile she get all excitement, an' she open it, an' sure 'nough, it be a book call The Meaning of Dreams!
