Lovely Days

One thing i love about morning walks on the beach is seeing the ghost crabs.

He's right near his hole, and he will dive in if he thinks he needs to.

Church was fun, we "saw the light!"  Then there was a nice lunch at the health food cooperative store although we almost drowned leaving during a sudden storm squall.   My Sunday afternoon attendance at Bedside Baptist was under the waterfall by the pool and i did not find any cracks in my eyelids.

Today it's time for the zoo, the one that lets you pet the lemurs and the sloths and kangaroos.  Then we will go up to the mall where i can get my Sketcher Go Walk shoes (the ones i have now are getting holes in them).

Even though we don't have the children with us, we are considering going to the arcade tonight.  After all, our inner children are alive and well and running rampant.

Today is:

Day of the Living Children of Nut -- Ancient Egyptian Calendar (date approximate)

Feast of Epona -- Ancient Celtic Calendar (Rhiannon in Wales, Macha in Ireland, guardian goddess of horses, stables, horse owners, agriculture, and transportation; date approximate, and disputed, she was the only Celtic goddess worshipped by the Romans, and they celebrated her on December 18)

Ides of June -- Ancient Roman Calendar; related observances:
Festival of Jupiter Invictus (Jupiter the Unconquered)

  7. I didn't see him at first! How cool!
And I love my Sketchers! They have the memory foam and it's like wearing fuzzy slippers.

I hope I can never pass a pinball machine without stopping to play it!! I'd truly have to reexamine my life.
