Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
Yesterday there was excitement at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Bryn was spending the night as she was going to a wedding for a relative on her mother's side of the family.
First, she had to go to buy shoes, she had forgotten to bring her dress shoes. Then she realized she'd forgotten the suit she was going to wear, so off to another store. Getting back, she figured out she'd forgotten her dark socks, so Grandma went and dug out a pair from her own sock drawer. The poor girl was just having a horribly forgetful day.
Boudreaux be complain 'bout how de employee, Pierre, allus be forgettin' stuff. He tell de secretary, "Pierre don' remember nothin' an' I jes' don' know how long I's goin' be able put up wit' dat!"
Jus' den, Pierre come in an' say, "Boss, you not goin' believe what jes' happen when I be at de restaurant! I done run into Monsieur Gaston, an' we know he ain't bought new 'quipment from us in two year, an' so I done talk to him 'bout how he need be replacin' some de old 'quipment, and he be comin' in half hour to sign him a big contract!"
An' Boudreaux he turn him to de secretary an' he say, "Mais! What I done tol' you 'bout Pierre forgettin' ever't'in'! He din't 'member to bring de sammiches!"

Maybe a good day to spend a little time with my husband .... instead of my computer friends. LOL (he does complain)
That is a pretty fairy garden. So nice to have an orange tree bearing lots of oranges for the whole family.

I had neighbours who had orange and lemon trees in their front yards, but they were elderly neighbours who sold their homes and now there are just empty blocks waiting for new houses to be built on. No trees:(
