Plenty of Kittens (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.
He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

It is kitten season, and the shelter is now open for adoptions again, as long as you don't mind waiting your turn to come in and wearing a mask.

We have plenty of kittens, too:

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. __________________ is like trying to nail jello to a wall.

2. _______________never _______________________.

3. If I had a dollar for every time _________, I would be rich.

4. I wish _________ grew on trees.

1. Getting a message across to people who do not want to hear it  is like trying to nail jello to a wall.

2. Can't  never  could do anything.

3. If I had a dollar for every time   i have changed a diaper in my life, or wiped a bottle-baby kitten's bottom,  I would be rich.

4. I wish  a fruit that could impart common sense to the eater  grew on trees.

I agree with #4 and a lot of people also put very similar today.
I have been checking every so often to see if the code is up.
