She's Come a Long Way (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

Tripod SissyCat, who was a mean cat and attacked people, dogs, and other cats when she came to us, now lets Coda walk past her without a second glance.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I will never stop __________________.

2. It was a relief to ___________________.

3. _________ made me feel proud of myself.

4. _________ grosses me out.

1. I will never stop   hoping to retire until the day i do it!

2. It was a relief to   finally get Grandma to agree to let me be her permanent housekeeper.

3. Graduating high school  made me feel proud of myself.

4. In my line of work, not much  grosses me out.   The only time i thought i'd be sick cleaning something was when Ms. S's garbage can had maggots.

  9. I am glad SissyCat is mellowing. I am with you on the maggots! Our local council changed the way they collect recycling and instead of 2 plastic sacks and the food waste every other week, and non recyclable alternate weeks we now have 4 crates and food waste which should be collected every week. We didn't get a collection for 6 weeks! You can imagine what the food waste was like. It is supposed to have an airtight seal but the flies were still getting in and hubby took it out to where he burns his spray wood from when a tree has come down and gave them a cremation. The excuse was they didn't know our lane existed and missed all 3 farms. I think the fairies must have collected our recycling all those previous years!
