I Ain't Afraid of No Dog (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins, Nature Friday and Pet Photo Fails

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Over Memorial Day Weekend our church only has one service and it starts later than the one Becca and I usually go to.  Thus we get an extra long walk with Mr. Cal, if he's feeling up to it, all the way around to the pond and over the bridge.

At one point we saw a cat sitting in the middle of the cul-de-sac, since it was a Sunday morning there were no cars moving.  He saw us, and in a leisurely and not at all concerned way, got up and came toward us, but stopped far enough away not to get Mr. Cal's chase instinct going.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. I have trouble pronouncing _________.

2. I tend to confuse _________ with _________.

3. I quit _________ because _________.

4. Currently, I can't get _________ out of my mind.

1. I have trouble pronouncing   pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.

2. I tend to confuse   right  with   left, especially when i am tired.

3. I quit   going to the mall  because   there is very little at such places to interest me.

4. Currently, I can't get   the church hymn Jesus Paid It All  out of my mind,    but that's okay, it can stay, it's a good one.

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!

Pet Photo Fails is hosted by Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries & Meows.

It's not easy to get a picture of The Charismatic Enigma SissyCat when she's sitting in the window, most of them turn out rather awful and it's her favorite place to be.

  1. That cat is the boss! Sweet fails from Sissycat. I am not surprised you have trouble pronouncing that word for #1.

  2. I wouldn't even attempt to pronounce that word. Like you my grasp on right and left shifts (and slips) when I am tired.

  3. Always start your day with some good stretchies ...

  4. Cats are pretty smart and they love to tease dogs when they know they are safe doing it.

  5. Sissycat is funny, as is the street-sitting kitty tempting Mr. Cal to the chase. What a lovely outing for Cal!

  6. Pretty kitty and quite street wise. Thanks for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I won't even try to say that word. :) I pretty much quit going to the mall too. There are hardly any stores in it, it is all gyms, trampoline places and a bowling alley. Cute bloopers. XO

  7. It seems that the street cat is aware of woofies. Mom agrees about the Mall and Sissy is adorable.

  8. Great kitty pics. I agree about the mall. I used to love walking around, window shopping, but not anymore. None of the stores have anything that interest me these days.

  9. That sure is a laid back kitty! Those were good fill-in answers and cute fails!

  10. Jumpin' cat fish I'm impressed you can spell that word. MOLMOL
The cul-de-sac kitty looks to be very healthy. I hope he knows to avoid big streets

  11. Cats pick the weirdest beds! (that is a microwave, right?) You caught that street-located kitty perfectly in his stretches. The word I can never pronounce is "anesthetist" - unless I slow down, and even then, it can go off the rails :)

  12. The cat at the car looks well kept.

The cat at the window likes to look outside. One of my former neighbor's cat often sits inside the kitchen, by the kitchen window. Maybe you can try pulling down the shade/ blinds, to avoid the bright light glare that spoils the lighting for photos.

  14. The kitty in the street looks as if it was daring Mr. Cal to come after her/him. SissyCat looked really surprised to see you taking her photo. 16. That's a seriously brave cat. Smart, too, to stay at a distance so as not to engage Mr. Ca;'s prey drive. Sissycat, even your fails look beautiful. :)
