Tripod SissyCat's Throne (Feline Friday), Friendly Fill-Ins and Nature Friday

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.

He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

Feline Friday is simple to join.  All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute).  Then add your link!

One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do.  So come and join us in Feline Friday.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!

Much thanks to Ms. Ann of Zoolatry for the new Feline Friday badge.

The Tripod SissyCat has decided she has a new favorite sleeping spot, the lid of the toilet.  We jokingly call it "Sissy's Throne," and i ask her politely to move every time i have to use the facility, and i generally just pick her up and put her in front of her food bowl where she has a snack then comes back when i'm done.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined

1. I write with my _________ hand.

2. My plans for the month of May include _________ and _________.

3. I wonder if anyone else _________.

4. _________ is what I like most about _________.

1. I write with my   right  hand.   My Sweetie was left-handed until his teacher made him switch and all four of our kids are lefties!

2. My plans for the month of May include   going to see Grandma on Mother's Day  and   plenty of work.

3. I wonder if anyone else   drinks as much water as i do, i'm always thirsty (and no, i am not diabetic, my doctor does the labs every year and my blood sugar is perfect).

4. Being able to see beautiful sunsets  is what I like most about   living across the street from the big field behind the school.

Nature Friday is hosted by LLB in Our Backyard.  Simply post a picture of the natural world, and link up!   https://llbinourbackyard.blogspot.com

Here's a picture of a property with the Amite River in the background.  We're having daytime temps in the 80's to 90, and rainstorms, and it's all green.

  1. Cats sometimes pick the oddest places don't they? I have several "lefties' in my family too.

  2. SissyCat looks lovely on her throne. I like the new badge Ann has made and have saved it and will use it from next week.
Good fill ins. I was also left handed and made to change by my teacher. Although I write right handed I do everything else left handed. If an electronic signature is needed for a delivery I do that left handed, and can't for the life of me do a legible one with my right hand.

  3. Oh, wonderful blog as usual but I am LOULOU commenting, not anonymous, haha. And poor Anne Boleyn, 'with her head tucked underneath her arm;....

  4. What a place to choose, Lucky it's not here, we never cloe the lid ;) Busy children in a hurry made for a permanent habit, now I swear if someone does indeed close it :(
I love your fill-ins. For me May includes weeding and weeding. I can write with both hands - now almost equally bad, as I always use a keyboard - but I prefer to use my right for writing (not for cutting and for many other jobs).

  5. I started life as a leftie until the school cured me by tying my left hand behind my back. I now struggle to use it to do anything.
Love that cat throne. And hooray for sunsets.

  6. You work hard you work up a big thirst. It's understandable. Too bad your husband was forced to write with his right hand. What a odd coincidence that all four children are lefties. Sweet sissy tripod sitting on her throne is as cute as can be. I guess you need to put a thick rug on there so that she has a soft spot, lol.

  8. My mother was ambidextrous…she started out as a leftie but they made her use her right hand to write. My younger daughter is a leftie.

I don’t see a place to link up for Feline Friday …

  14. Our mom's dad was also forced in elementary school to switch from writing with his left hand into using his right. Though our mom writes with her right hand, she probably does 75 percent of other things with her left. Maybe you should get one of those fuzzy toilet seat covers so SissyCat will be more comfortable. MOL! Have a great weekend. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
