Not So Sweet (Cajun Joke), Sunday Selections and Sunday Selfie

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Yesterday Grandma didn't feel like getting out of bed for lunch, so she didn't.  We brought her hamburger sliders and pickles to her.  When she was done, she looked at me and said, "I need chocolate pudding!"

I grinned and headed toward the kitchen to grab her a pudding cup from the fridge and before i could get all of the way out of the room she called, "I need two!"  What can i say, she has a sweet tooth.

Boudreaux be at work an' he seem ver' glum.  Thibodeaux done ax him what be de matter an' he say, "It be my birt'day."

An' Thibodeaux say, "Den dis shoulda been a happy day an' why you be's lookin' so sad?"

An' Boudreaux say, "Mais, Clothile done say she not be goin' make me a cake.  I feels so dessert-ed!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.        

While we figure out how to save my photos off of my regular phone and get me a working one, i am using the spare, which is very cheap.  The photos are those i've taken since i started having to use it exclusively.  We get what we get and we don't get upset.

Of course, Blogger reordered them, and yes, i did manage to capture a cute bumble bee in a couple of them.
