Babies (Awww Monday), Inspiring Quote of the Week and Poetry Monday, Under the Sea

 ***********************************

Awww Monday is hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus.

Join us every Monday for Awww...Mondays.  Post a picture that makes you say Awww... and that's it.

Make sure you get the code from Sandee's site, linked above, and leave a link to your post so we can visit you.  What better way to start the week than with a smile!

These babies were screaming until they got fed, then peace reigned.

Sparks is the brainchild of Annie of McGuffy's Reader, who wanted us to post something positive and uplifting at the start of the week.  While she no longer blogs, i like to post an Inspiring Quote of the Week in her honor.

Our dear friend Diane is taking a break

accommodations we must make

we miss her poetry and wit

so carry on as Poetry Monday's a hit!

Poetry Monday was started by Diane at On The Alberta/Montana Border Charlotte/Mother Owl and i are keeping it going while she takes a blog break, we hope temporarily.  Anyone else is welcome to join in the fun, just let us know!

This week the theme is Under the Sea.

*******

carnival under

the sea has to have a good

for-tuna teller

*******

Things under the sea

can be kind of crazy,

the whales are blubbermouths

but getting kind of lazy,

not keeping up with dolphins

who create content that lasts,

they won't put in much effort

at their latest pod-casts.

They might get kind of chunky,

they love to eat, those whales,

other fish don't get fat,

they have their own scales.

The schools are getting in trouble,

the government's on a crusade

to raise academic standards,

now they're below "sea" level grades.

The turtles want to stay under

the water now for good,

it's where they can eat plenty,

on land they can't catch fast food.

And don't shell out any money,

oysters are all a churl,

they clam up when asked

to please share a pearl.

And why does the ocean roar so much,

at an answers I'll take some stabs,

the first is you'd roar, too,

if your bottom was full of crabs!
