Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
We had a small birthday party for our little Annie yesterday as she is one today!
Her parents took her in the pool, and after #2 Son used one of the less often used showers in the house to get the chlorine out of his hair.
Many year ago, Boudreaux an' Clothile done know dey be havin' comp'ny comin' on de train to spen' de night, but dey gots to be in work when de comp'ny goin' get dere, an' Boudreaux jes' tole dem to come in an' make deyself's at home.

When Boudreaux an' Clothile done get home, dey fin' de frien's be dere an dey done already clean up.
De frien' Eugenie done say, "T'ank you so much fo' lettin' us jes come in an' get clean up an rest a bit! Only I don' likes takin' me a shower much, I likes me a bath so I done use de nice, big tub in de laundry, I hope dat be's okay."
An' Boudreaux say, "Oh, dat be jes fine, you kin use dat if'n you want, me an' Clothile allus takes us a shower, dat tub be where we bathe de dogs an' dey be happy to share!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files. The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please. It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child.
It's not all the news that's fit to print, it's all the photos i could find which haven't been used up yet.

This week, Mrs. Duck, the one who keeps building a nest and hatching babies near the cat shelter, wanted to join The Kitties Blue at The Cat on My Head for their Sunday Selfie blog hop.
