Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.
A few weeks ago we were talking about lottery tickets, as Grandma used to occasionally send Grandpa out to get one. The topic came up again, although Grandma doesn't bother to try to get Grandpa to go out for tickets any longer. I think she realizes it's rather pointless.
De riches' man Boudreaux done know be Ol' Landreneau, an' he also be's de cheapes' and stingies' man alive. One day as a joke Boudreaux done dare Ol' Landreneau to buy hims two lott'ry tickets.
Well, Ol' Landreneau done be in de good mood an' he did it, jes to show Boudreaux. Den, o' course, he done won. De nex' day, Boudreaux done seen Ol' Landreneau an' he look him so sad.
An' Boudreaux ax, "Ol' Landreneaux, what fo' you be's lookin' so sad? You be even richer now, you done won you a lott'ry!"
An' Ol' Landreneau done say, "Mais, I know I done won me a lott'ry, but what fo' did I waste de money on de second ticket?"
