Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she has entrusted it to me.
Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is: Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (they may be silly or cute). Then add your link!
One thing for sure is this is a fun and easy meme to do. So come and join us in Feline Friday.
What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
Olive has a touch of the blues.
She put her toy in her water bowl, and yes, it turned the water blue!
Of course, she got fresh water (and a different toy).

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!
Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:
1. My zodiac sign is __________________.
2. My Chinese zodiac animal sign is _____________________.
3. For me, _________ brings back memories of _________.
4. _________ is the only thing keeping me from _________.
1. My zodiac sign is not something i pay attention to.
2. My Chinese zodiac animal sign is not something i pay attention to, either. It may seem silly to some, but i do take the Biblical prohibition of astrology and divination seriously. Yes, we are still friends if you disagree.
3. For me, Elmer's Gold Brick Eggs (candy) brings back memories of my whole childhood. In fact, it tastes like my childhood!
4. Not being debt free and still needing grocery money is the only thing keeping me from retiring.

we like the idea with the blue water a lot... we will try that too ;O)
ReplyDeleteWe agree on zodiacs, when someone asks me, I say that it was washed off when was baptized ;)
ReplyDeleteThat water turned very blue from the toy and was surely not normal. Olive looks very sweet. I don't follow astrology either, but mostly because I consider it hogwash.
ReplyDeleteThe magnolias and azaleas are lovely, ours are about 2 months from flowering if at all. The continual storms have waterlogged the ground and all the smaller plants have rotted off. That is a sweet flashback.
A good dose of cat photos today. And those kittens on a pair of legs, wow. We're having rain up here this morning before the next snow comes through on the weekend, and you have these beautiful trees starting to bloom. Love seeing them. Happy Friday
ReplyDeleteThe cat toy is probably not a very good toy for anyone if it gives off its color so easily! Good to get rid of it. Mom would retire in a heartbeat but we too need money for too many things still. Being self employed there isn't a retirement plan like if she had a corporate job.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mimi for all your good works with cats. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteCat Toy soup?
ReplyDeleteOlive is so cute, wow, blue water is not good. excellent job as always on the fill in the blanks.. we made sure our house was paid for an no debt before Bob retired 8 years before me. its the only reason we could retire and certainly now when everything is so high.
ReplyDeleteno signs for me, I am with the hogwash thought.
Olive is beautiful. Thank you for hosting Feline Friday and for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. And yes, of course we are still friends even if we have differing opinions. My only deal breaker is people that don't like cats. :) Cute kittens. XO
ReplyDeleteOlive, you are a cutie and so are those bottle babies. Good fill-in answers too!
ReplyDeleteAquestes joguines són perilloses, millor llançar-les.
ReplyDeleteBones frases has fet.
I les flors m'agraden molt, per aquí comencen a florir els ametlles. ;-)
Petonets, Mimi.
Sweet kitty photos ~ Olive and the bottle babies ~ lovely nature photo too ~ hugs.
