My to do list is going to eat me.

At least, that's how it feels.

The shelter is overrun, five more barely weaned kittens were dumped there on Wednesday. They have been moved to a foster home to be socialized and finish with weaning.

Zeva, Emmie, and Petey have been adopted.

The rest of the names have not changed, and only Angel is sick. They think it is a staph infection.

The kittens are growing, and the mamas are growing tired of being in cages with only their babies for company.

Flower delivery Friday and Saturday will be interspersed with kid stuff, errands, and stopping by the house to feed kittens after every run. Talk about complicating matters!

The church was cleaned a day early, for all the good it did, as there were workers arriving as we were leaving, and someone has locked the janitor closet in the kid building and hidden the key where we can't find it. Not a smart move, hiding the janitor closet key from the janitor, but some people just don't have enough upstairs to realize that, i guess. Naturally, no one knows who did it.

Well, either way, it's time to face the weekend, one day at a time.

  1. If to do lists could eat you, my rear would have been hamburger a llooooooooong time ago. One thing at a time... (I keep telling myself that, but sometimes it seems like one thing at a time is IMPOSSIBLE!) :/ Eeep.

At least you have three down the road to new homes! 5 more, tho. Step forward, step back... again, eep!

Ok, janitor needs key. Announcement of key missing in church wide announcements? Reward of one free kitten to whoever returns key? :) Oh, guess not. But an announcement might be in order if it doesn't get back soon...

Beverage I haven't tried. Absinthe? I have heard it makes the heart grow fonder. (HA!) Sorry, the most exciting I got today was Mexican Coca Cola. (Imported, made with cane sugar, not corn syrup. I like the taste better.) Such a wild woman am I...

  2. Mexican Coke is supposed to be much better, the kids get it when they can.

As for the key, it will probably turn up in the Children's Pastor's office, but she wasn't available to ask.

One thing at a time is often impossible. If the laundry isn't washing while i'm doing dishes or i'm not reading email while i'm brushing my teeth or something, it doesn't all get done.
