Thursday Double Feature

"What do you get out of it if I go with this plan of yours?" he asked the Djinn.

The Djinn closed his eyes, dropped his head with resignation and said, "I'm weary.  At first I found the power exhilarating and the results amusing, but I grew fond of your grandparents and now I realize I've gotten tired of watching humans mess up their lives trying to use me to manipulate the world in ways they weren't meant to do."  He looked up and added, "And I want to go back to the Creator and be put in my rightful place, which is not here."

"You better make certain this plan of yours works correctly, we only have one chance."

"I will."

  2. And so a new chapter, a new adventure will begin. The Return of the Djinn. It's funny that he is weary of humans, but is putting his fate in their hands. I think they might have to use some wishes to accomplish their goal.

  5. I have a long fence around my place and yesterday we had winds over 60 mph with more gust then that some of my fences bent in the wind and eventually some areas broke in places. It was bad. Now I have to pick up of the pieces. Oh well, that's life.
Have a great day Mimi. See ya.

  7. This was great, Mimi! We never really think about how the Djinn feels about his situation, or what might have caused him to be in this position in the first place. It makes me happy that he wants to retire and return to The Creator. That's what most of us long for when we become old and tired!
