Scratch (Six Sentence Story), Roadside Sales (Good Fences), Ready For My Close-up (Sammy's Poetry Day), and Brian's Thankful Thursday

***********************************

"What's wrong?  You are over there squirming like a worm on a hook!"

"It's the usual."

"Well, come over here and let me take care of it."

"Oh, yes, that's it, perfect!  That's one of the overlooked benefits of being married, having someone there who can help you scratch the itch on your back that you just can't reach."

Linking up with Denise at Girlie On The Edge Blog, where she hosts Six Sentence Stories, and the cue is Reach.

Gosia at Looking for Identity has taken over Good Fences, and it's now Good Fences Around The World.  Post a picture of a fence or gate, link back to her blog, and go visit other blogs to see what interesting fences there are out in this big world.

A place i drive by frequently has a very nice, white iron fence, and driving past the other day i noticed they have become entrepreneurial there:

Grapefruit, oranges and lemons for sale, and you know they are fresh!

It's Angel Sammy's Poetry Day!  This week's image and my poem:

Who is that?
What do I see?
Could that baby
Really be me?

This barber's great,
He's a whiz,
He made me look
Ready for show biz!

Brian of Brian's Home hosts the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.   It's time to share something for which i am thankful.

After our adventure on Tuesday with the fire in the neighbor's back yard due to the unfortunate mix of electric wires and a tree branch, i am thankful for our generator, that came on when it was supposed to, and for electricity, even though you have to be so very careful with it.
