Special (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

Grandma is having some tooth pain.

She asked for Orajel when i went shopping yesterday.  She has a tooth that holds her bridge acting up again.

When i asked, she said that it only does this once in so often, the nerve gets sensitive.  While they could do a root canal and crown it, it would also require a new bridge, to the tune of thousands of dollars that she doesn’t want to spend if the pain is infrequent.

Clothile done gots her de tooth pain, an’ she make Boudreaux drive her to de dentist.

De dentist, he poke an’ prod an’ x-ray an’ fin’ly say, “Dat tooth need de root canal an’ you’s goin’ need a crown.”

An’ Clothile say, “Mais, Boudreaux, you done hear dat!  A crown!  Fin’ly someone figure out how impo’tant I be’s!

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It is now hosted by Elephant's Child.

It’s been a busy week, so i haven’t taken too many photos.  That means today will be a flashback post, with random photos from the past.

  6. That was a cute joke. Hope Grandma's tooth pain goes away. Around here, all the dentists are closed so I keep hoping we have no dental emergencies.
