Patient (Feline Friday) and Friendly Fill-Ins

 ***********************************

Feline Friday was started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude, and i'm going to believe it's because he likes cats.

He has handed hosting duties off to Sandee, of Comedy Plus, and it's simple to join, just follow the link to Sandee's page for the rules and the code.

A couple of patient kitties waiting for their forever homes.  Don't worry, they don't wait long, people come in and adopt every day.

Friendly Fill-Ins are easy to do. There are four statements: the first two statements are provided by Ellen of 15AndMeowing, and the final two are offered by Lorianne The Menagerie Mom of Four-Legged Furballs. They try to make sure the statements will be fun to both answer and share. The linky will be posted at or about 12:00 AM on Friday. Please head over to one of their sites, link up, and share your thoughts!

Here are this week's statements with my responses underlined:

1. My focus word for 2022 is ________________.

2. This year I want to learn more about __________________.

3. I _________ during the first week of 2022.

4. In this season of my life, I _________.

1. My focus word for 2022 is   give. (Meaning give of self, time, whatever comes to hand.)

2. This year I want to learn more about   how to properly use my low-temp dehydrator that Grandma gave me a while back.

3. I   worked  during the first week of 2022.

4. In this season of my life, I   am setting up my client list so that i'm only doing one house a day.  Two-a-days just aren't going to happen any more except for a rare occasion.

  1. Dear Mimi
I just wanted to say a huge thankyou for always commenting on my blogposts. How on earth you get time to publish your own and comment so much on others is a mystery to me. Superwoman !!!
Anyway, I love seeing you there and you always have something relevant to say.

  9. Mimi,

At first glance, I didn't think I was on your blog. You have a new layout. :)

Those kitties are cute. I'm sure it won't be long before they get adopted. At least they aren't outdoors in the cold weather. Brrr, it's been so cold here this week!

I can see 'give' as your focus word for the new year. You have such a giving heart. :)

Best of luck to you in your scheduling. Being self-employed allows such flexibilities.

I hope you're keeping warm and safe. May 2022 bring good things to you and yours, my dear!

  10. Mimi, disregard my comment about your new blog layout. As soon as I hit publish, your blog looked like I normally see it. There's some craziness going on or I'm just crazy. You decide. Hmm, it also didn't put my profile picture beside my name in my previous message. Oh well...it is what it is. Have a funtastic Friday!

  11. We have been thinking of adopting a dog as spring approaches and we can get out to do training and exercise, but our shelters have so much paperwork that must be done online before you can even visit (COVID) it is probably not going to happen.
