Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

While at Grandma and Grandpa's for the weekend, i made Grandma a meatloaf just for her.  (Grandpa doesn't like meatloaf anyway.)  She told me she missed her mother's meatloaf, made simply with ground beef, plain bread crumbs, egg, and canned milk, so i went to the store and got the ingredients.  She loved it, even though i had to guess the proportions.

We're all set for a meal today, every bit of it bought from the Honeybaked Ham Store.  All we have to do it put all the side dishes in the oven for an hour to cook.  If it works out, it will be the easiest holiday meal we ever put together.

Boudreaux an' Clothile done be talkin' 'bout how to make de Easter Sunday easier wit' de chil'ren.

"I gots me de idea," say Boudreaux.  "We bring dem home from church, give dem lunch, put dem outside wit' de Easter basket an' tell dem to hunt fo' eggs, den we locks us de door an' takes us a nap!"
