Sweet (Cajun Joke) and Sunday Selections

 ***********************************

Just because Sandee of Comedy Plus is no longer hosting a Silly Sunday blog hop, do not expect me to quit telling Cajun jokes, especially as it has now become a habit.

If any of you don't remember, Valentine's Day is coming up.  If you have a sweetheart who is expecting something, you've been warned.  (And, as the 12-steppers say, expectations are premeditated resentments).)

Thibodeaux an' Marie done be at Boudreaux an' Clothile house, an' Thibodeax done get Boudreaux off to de side an' ax, "What you be gettin' Clothile fo' de Valentine Day?"

An' Boudreaux done say, "I done tole her we don' be gettin' gif's dis year because we be a gif' to each other ever' day."

Marie done overhear dat, an' she turn to Clothile an' say, "Dat be so sweet an' romantic, what Boudreaux say."

An' Clothile say, "Mais!  Sweet an' romantic my foot.  Non, dat Cajun jes' be too cheap to buy me som'pin!"

Sunday Selections was started as a way for bloggers to use photos that might otherwise just languish in their files.  The rules have been relaxed, and it is now simply a showcase for your photos, new or old, good or bad, although nothing rude, please.  It was hosted by River, who still participates, and is now hosted by Elephant's Child (who is on a blog break and is missed).
