Feline Friday was originally started by Steve, The Burnt Food Dude (may he rest in peace), and i'm going to believe it's because he liked cats.
He handed hosting duties off to Sandee at Comedy Plus, and now she's entrusting it to me.

What better way to start the weekend than with a feline!
Amalie had litter in her water bowl, so of course i changed it, and then she got it her litter box and flung litter far and wide, meaning more litter in the water bowl.
Charles and Schulz decided running around their cage like mad and spilling the water was better.
You can see the bits of cat litter in the water bowl, that was less than a minute after i'd changed it. Also, if you look to the side of the second cage, you see the water on the floor after they ran all over their cage and sloshed it out all over the place.
Lots of kitty messes, lots of job security.

1. The easiest ones on my Christmas shopping list to buy for (is) are all the adult children, they just get money since i'd never be able to figure out what they really want.
2. The toughest ones on my Christmas shopping list to buy for (is) are Grandma and Grandpa, after all, they're in their 80's, have everything they need, and can get themselves whatever they need or want (within reason).

ReplyDeleteMy relatives in The Netherlands are having fun today...Sinterklaas!! Not sure if he still comes on his horse and with Zwarte Piet. Even though I am of Dutch Heritage, other than a special type of cookie, once my parents came to Canada, they only did Christmas, though I know of some immigrant families still did the St Nicholas things. I think they wanted us all to integrate more seamlessly into the Canadian cultural scenes. But at Christmas we always got chocolate letters, and pepernoten, also 'banquet' those are very Dutch things!
We do not have enough superlatives for our admiration of your blog and its info about world happenings and we are so glad your kitty has NO problem in his little body and we love that it is Wear Brown Shoes Day somewhere.....MERCI for such an informative blog, dear Messymimi.

ReplyDeleteThe kittens are probably bored with their small space and just want to have fun. Hopefully they will find forever homes soon where they can tear around the house and not make such a mess.

ReplyDeleteprecious kitties, I wish for all of them a new home for Christmas.. The only person I buy a Christmas gift for is myself. like the new Chromebook. I have no list because we stopped giving gifts in 2006 when the 6 of us, my 2 sons and their wives, each gave the others a 25.00 gift card. I said this is the same thing as we stand in a circle and swap money. from now on, each of us should buy a present for yourself. they never knew what to give us because we buy what we want/need. although my DIL Michelle gave us 2 gifts that were wonderful and they are sitting out now with the Christmas things. she also gave us 3 that I gave to girls at work with kids, like an aminated Santa drinking coffee for the front porch. I am impossible to buy a gift for, my mother loved anything. I could go to the beach and pickup up shells and give them to her and was happy.
