It's time once again for a random and happy Tuesday, linking up with Stacy's Random Thoughts at Stacy Uncorked and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
I arrived at Ms. D's house to clean one morning and was greeted with, "Don't breathe! I burned the toast!"
Of course, i laughed so hard i couldn't follow her directions and that's okay, it wasn't so bad. A good cleaning of the toaster followed and it needed it.
Breakfast is easy and hard at the same time. It's way too easy to pour some cereal in a bowl and let it go or just add a piece of fruit or glass of juice, but even if you have energy in the morning, it's hard to carve out the time to cook.
Then there's Carl, famous in his day for his large breakfasts, of which cereal was only the start, with plenty of "good stuff" added to it. Thankfully, the toaster oven wasn't so hard to clean as his meals often included toast, some kind of frozen breakfast sandwich or pastry, and yoghurt. Back when he went through his egg cooking phase on the glass stove top, well, i will leave the chaos to your imagination, just remember if you are in the market for a new range/cookstove of any kind, egg loves those glass tops and doesn't like to let go.
